I read Medical Science at Cambridge University, completing clinical training at Guy's, Kings and St Thomas. I trained in London and East Sussex, before completing my PhD in Surgery and Cancer from Imperial College London. This was followed by further clinical training in South West London, followed by entry into the Specialist Register. 

I was appointed as a locum Consultant Surgeon at St Marks Hospital, London North West NHS Trust, where I learnt and worked beside leaders in the field of colorectal surgery.
